Description

Happy New Year to the world!!
So I was imaging with my new mount and scope on December 29, 2022.  Been having a heck of a time with mount drift so my images were all over the place. With a little help from my friend, Rust Observatory from here on Astrobin, I was able to salvage what would have otherwise been a bad night.  I sent him my images and had him do a manual stack in Nebulosity 4.  I still have yet to learn how to do a manual stack.  The stack I was doing in Pixinsight was not working.  Well, he stacked them and sent them back to me for processing in PIX.  I used the new plug in BlurX, and I must say I am sold on that product.  It really helps bring out the detail in the nebula, and it tightens up the stars.  I still need more data to get rid of some of the noise in this image, but overall I am very happy with what I thought was going to be a busted night of imaging!  Clear Skies!!
Mark
